Walking to say goodby . . .

The last steps to the gravesite seem to be the most difficult. Perhaps because, that is where you say the final goodbye. A few days ago hundreds of people joined together the night before and in the morning to say goodbye to Pastor Tomas Madrigal.

Pastor Tomas was one of the first Spanish language pastors in Praise Chapel. He was a servant leader who was loved by thousands of grateful people. He was a Pastor, Church Planter, Husband, Dad, Grandad, and so much more.

To Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship, he was a true leader. His voice, message, and example have stood out for over 35 years.

A family who truly honored their father and pastor.

I have observed both the family of Pastor Tomas and the congregation, where he was the pastor. They honored him right to this last walk to say goodbye. He was always at church,  always dressed impeccably. They cared for him with pure love and honor.  I  commend the Madrigal family and the church for the example they set for all of us of what Christians and Family love and care is.

I was at their home two days before Pastor Tomas went to his heavenly reward. There in his room, I could sense the love of his family and see the care that they have so faithfully and honorably given to him. Truly an example of how it should be at the end of life.

“You are an honored prince among us” (Genesis 23:6).

In the Bible, when Abraham’s wife Sara died, and he was purchasing a burial sight for her, the people around said to Abraham, “You are an honored prince among us..” On behalf of Praise Chapel International, I say, Pastor Tomas, you were indeed an honored prince among us. Thank you to the Madrigal family and Praise Chapel Santa Ana for being the Christian example to all of us of how to give honor to a beloved father, pastor, and true Man of God.

I am grateful to have served alongside this man. We will serve together again in the Kingdom Age.

Reckless . . .

For years the Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about the Prophetic Harvest of Generations. Late last year during a prayer time I wrote :

Something is going to happen in 2020 and beyond. The Harvest of Generations is going to break out. It will be a marked season in Christian history. Just as Azusa Street is a marked revival. It is going to be a year when a move of God sweeps around the world. Grace and mercy are going to flood like rivers of living water to the desperate and needy of the world. Miracles showing God’s love. Many will reject just as they always have. But, the seeds of generations are ready to be harvested before a much more terrible time comes upon the earth, due to human sin and selfishness. Those who long to participate in the Harvest of Souls for God’s kingdom, will rejoice in 2020 as they have the glorious honor of laboring together with Christ Jesus in reaping His Harvest of Generations.

As I am writing this letter to you, I am sitting on the 24th floor of a hotel in Metro Manila, Philippines where we have just concluded an amazing Bible Conference. What started with one church with Pastors Sammy & Noemi Mores and Janet & I, has become an unbelievable harvest that is multiplying rapidly all over the Philippines and in many nations.
I set aside a few days here in Manila to pray and be alone with the Lord. as I look out these massive glass window at this 20 million people metropolis, with my eyes of FAITH I see the Prophetic Harvest of Generations that is rising over the horizon, just as sure as Elijah saw the rain coming to a drought ridden land.

We are people of FAITH! We are PROPHETIC people of God!

Look with me and see the Harvest that is coming. Believe with me. It is God’s will that you be a part of this great Prophetic End Time Harvest. I believe that God has raised up Praise Chapel for, “Such a time as this.”

This Conference is the FORERUNNER for what I see coming.

It is who we are and what we are about, “Discipleship & Church Planting.” Just as David said to his wife Michal when she accused him of excessiveness, “Ill be yet more reckless than this” (2 Sam 6:22).

I see it and I feel it! Let’s MULTIPLY. Let’s be more RECKLESS for our God. Maybe that is why God said, “David is a man after my own heart.” We love the song: “Oh the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God.”

The only answer for this world is the, “RECKLESS LOVE OF GOD.” How does God show that love to a hurting and dying world? Through RECKLESS PEOPLE – who are willing to do whatever it takes to reap the HARVEST.
MULTIPLY CONFERENCE is the FORERUNNER

The month of June I am asking pastors, small group leaders, youth leaders, worship leaders, ushers, and everyone who is willing to join me for a season of reckless prayer for MULTIPLICATION.

Let’s make June 2019, a “RECKLESS MONTH” of prayer and then join me at the Multiply Conference.

I know that there are some RECKLESS PEOPLE in Praise Chapel who have enough FAITH to join together to “SEE” the HARVEST of GENERATIONS. I am expecting the Supernatural, the Prophetic, the Apostolic anointing to light a FIRE when we come together.

Please register as soon as you can so we can be in contact with you via email and/or text over the next 30 or so days, to keep you updated on what we feel the Holy Spirit is saying.

One life . . .

Janet and I attended the funeral service for Pastor Frank Navarro. His family gave him so much honor, especially for the Christian example that he was to all of them. At the end Johnny Dorris shared, concluding a very encouraging and God honoring service.

As I sat there, I gave God thanks that Johnny and Patty Dorris moved to Ontario over 40 years ago and planted the Praise Chapel church.  Because, it was at an outreach where Johnny met and witnessed to Frank Navarro who soon after gave his life to Christ. Johnny said, “He never turned back.”

Frank and Renate Navarro went on to plant a church in Hayward, CA., and then in Germany.  They have served and been a part of Praise Chapel all these years. The impact of his life upon his Children, Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren was amazing to hear as they shared about him. Only now as he is in heaven will he understand the impact of his life.

This is the impact of Win- Build- Send.

One couple responded to plant a church in Ontario, California. One man got saved at an outreach. Generations of people are saved around the world.

Never underestimate what God is doing through your life and ministry. God may have you where you are serving for just that, “1” person or one family.  Jesus stopped for one woman at a well and as a result an entire village received him.

Let’s keep at it, always.
